We are an arts space located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, tucked away and nestled within Lorong Ampang. Our space consists of two contrasting buildings, the Main Hall which was a ‘gudang' (warehouse) with a history of over 100 years., most notably as the 11LA club and the Boom Boom Room, in the 80s and 90s and our semi open-air building, designed by award winning architect, Ling Hao of Singaporean architecture firm, Linghao Architects.
Our programming focuses on the arts and architecture but will offer our audience a wide range of experiences, including exhibitions, performances, workshops and more. The Godown aims to be a space for people to congregate, collaborate, challenge, explore and share.
All visitors, contractors and employees are required to report to the building security for health screening before entering The Godown. Access will be denied for those who do not do so.
You must not enter The Godown if you have:
A temperature of 37.5°C and above
Common COVID-19 symptoms such as a COUGH, SORE THROAT, RUNNY NOSE, and SHORTNESS OF BREATH, with or without fever
