The Godown’s Main Hall was an old ‘gudang' (warehouse) with a history of over 100 years. It has been repurposed into an arts and events space suitable for exhibitions, performances, cocktail receptions, private dining, performances and art bazaars.
 

Capacity:  Up to 350 for reception, or up to 150 seated.  

The AiR or Artist-in-Residence building named for its artist residency space is an open pavillion that seamlessly connects to the surrounding streets and the daily rituals occurring within them.

LOBBY & GARDEN

The Lobby area and outdoor garden is the entry point for visitors to both the AiR building and the Main Hall, and serves as a reception area, as well as location for food and drinks.

Capacity: 50 reception, 40 seated

With an outdoor terrace that connects to the Main Hall, this space is suitable for activities involving smaller groups including workshops, talks, book launches and performances. It can also be used as a holding area for VIP guests for formal events at the Main Hall.

This airy space features high ceilings, natural light, a view of the surrounding foliage and is suitable for private receptions, workshops, talks and art exhibitions.

It is currently used as a studio space for our resident artists, living at the AiR Pod above to practise their art and to host workshops.

The roof is a contemplative place with a wild garden, concrete bench seating and a panaromic view of downtown KL.,.

It is available only for intimate performances, and not accessible for commercial events.
